Set in a gorgeous location on the flat of the valley at the back of McLaren Vale, our cellar door is a relaxed space with a serene terrace that looks out past the tree-lined creek, over vineyards and across the valley to the southern Mt Lofty Ranges.

All of our McLaren Vale beer is preservative-free and kettle-cooked then sterile-filtered once fermentation is complete, ensuring there is no ‘yeast hulls’ or ‘lees’ in the bottom of the keg. Every glass is consistently delicious without variation.

Grumpy’s Brewhaus is the first all-grain boutique microbrewery in the Adelaide Hills and have been operating since 1996. Originally located in Aldgate, then relocating to Verdun in 2001, we are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in craft brewing.
