With this in mind it seemed apt that we choose slowbeer as a means of conveying similar attributes of the now global craft beer revolution.

In addition to our bottled range, we aim to further support the local craft beer industry & encourage the consumption of brewery fresh beer by offering takeaway draught beer growler fills. This initiative is another first for arguably Australia’s leading craft beer retailer!

We moved to a bigger store & a new location in April 2012. Being situated in Richmond, closer to the City. Taking inspiration from European Bier Cafe’s we gave it out own modern, craft beer twist. Our aim is to expand the slowbeer concept by offering on premise consumption of all our bottled beers, as well as 4 regularly changing draught taps. We also offer a selection of artisan cheese, cured meats & preserves from local & overseas producers.

We opened a second location on Smith St, Fitzroy in September 2016, offering a comparable bottled range, as well as 5 taps. The venue itself is considerably bigger than Richmond, housing an upstairs lounge with pool table, that can be hired out for private functions.
