Tony Harper’s city-fringe bottle shop blends the familiarity of a local corner store with the sense of anticipation you get while hunting through a vintage market. Craft is a place for unexpected discoveries, run by true alcohol enthusiasts. Craft’s carefully-curated range includes artisanal Australian spirits, beer (craft, of course) on tap, and local wines. None are more local than Craft’s own Red Top wine, made in the store as part of Craft’s Urban Winery project. Grapes are sourced from a nearby vineyard and customers help Harper crush the grapes each year. The 2018 vintage is currently fermenting and resting, and Harper’s happy to show the curious exactly how the wine is made.
Keeping things interactive, Craft is a regular part of the Brewsvegas beer festival, and offers frequent events and Boozy Brunches – tastings with generous food pairings.
