Brick Lane Brewing Co
OUR STORY The Brick Lane Brewing Community began when 25 friends came together with a plan to do things a bit differently. The Brick Lane Community is an idea celebrating the great brewing community in Australia, creating a place where all makers and lovers of good beer can come together. A purpose built facility in Dandenong; designed with quality, flexibility and scale at its heart. From this Dandenong base, Brick Lane and our partners in brewing make beers to be enjoyed at the brewery, across Dandenong, Melbourne, around Australia and beyond. We invite you to come in and discover the other side and enjoy a few beers with us. OUR BREWERY Building our brewery in Dandenong has allowed us the space and freedom to create something truly world-class, with quality and flexibility at the forefront of our minds. Our major brewing equipment partners BrauKon, CoMac, Krones, Pall, GEA and TPM Pipe Welders have provided state-of-the-art brewing, process and packaging equipment, ensuring quality and consistency with a reduced environmental footprint. Our facility was engineered to reduce primary energy consumption, reclaim energy from kettle vapour and minimise waste streams. Ours is the first independent Australian brewery to adopt cross-flow filtration technology from Pall that reduces energy and water usage, improves beer quality and eliminates the need to use non-renewable filtration aids like diatomaceous earth. Our brewhouse has an annual capacity of 10 million litres of beer annually with a final expanded site capacity of more than 25 million litres of sales beer per annum. OUR COMMUNITY The Brick Lane Brewing Community includes all those who enjoy good beer – our consumers, customers, partner brewers, suppliers, friends and other independent brewers. We have an amazing home base in Dandenong and believe in inclusivity and diversity in brewing and that we have an obligation to do good in our community. We actively engage with a broad range of partners across a variety of areas – from brewing great beers, to helping community organisations and charities.
